Texas

This post is for my Mom & Brittany

I can’t believe how much I’ve been gone this month.
I returned from Washington DC this Monday afternoon & have even more photos to edit now!
I had never been to but I was down there for the Reason Rally & the Cherry Blossom Festival.
Photos to come soon.

Anyways, here are some photos of me & my niece in Texas, a pretty tree
& a shot from Dealey Plaza.

Kentucky at Dusk

Kentucky was my first real stop on my adventure.
I spent every evening sitting on the porch with a dog named Darby.
She would run into this field to chase animals multiple times an hour.
One evening she didn’t come back for awhile so I went into the field to find her.
I heard a horrid noise and stumbled upon a bunch of starlings in the trees.
It’s funny how living in New York will cause you to forget what normal things in nature sound like.
I captured this as I slowly sunk into the mud in the field watching these birds sway from tree to tree.

I made friends with this fabulous lady named Kini in Mexico. She just sent me this beautiful photo from our adventure to Cozumel.

Home Sweet Home

Well, I’ve begrudgingly returned back to New York City.

I spent the entire day transferring my photos onto my computer. What a process that took! Three plus weeks of RAW files put my poor computer through hell. I hope to get through a rough edit of most of them within the next few days then really get down to business so I can do a proper travel update.

I am still in disbelief that I quit my job & have spent the last few weeks traveling around. Each destination was remarkable and I took away a little bit from each city.

I’ll leave you with a tree photo that I took at the arboretum in Dallas.
