Coincidentally, the cherry blossom festival was going on at the same weekend as the Reason Rally.
- It’s no secret, I really went to see the trees in full bloom -
I was wandering around surrounding area of The Mall & was baffled at how beautiful these trees are.
They lined a lot of the walkways which made the dreary day seem that much lighter.

I returned from Washington DC this Monday afternoon & have even more photos to edit now!
I had never been to but I was down there for the Reason Rally & the Cherry Blossom Festival.

Kentucky was my first real stop on my adventure.
I spent every evening sitting on the porch with a dog named Darby.
She would run into this field to chase animals multiple times an hour.
One evening she didn’t come back for awhile so I went into the field to find her.
I heard a horrid noise and stumbled upon a bunch of starlings in the trees.
It’s funny how living in New York will cause you to forget what normal things in nature sound like.
I captured this as I slowly sunk into the mud in the field watching these birds sway from tree to tree.
